” I’ve read that depressed people tend to sleep more, I think it’s time to hibernate.”
Jokes apart, but honestly many of us today are not sure if we are tired, hungry, frustrated, angry or depressed. It’s a fast world, we are just not sure. Sometimes you might be fulfilling all your responsibilities but are still not happy. This is called, walking dead depression.
You are hurting within but don’t know what to do, who to turn to or how to go about this.
Symtoms of depression are:
- Suicidal thoughts
- Lack of appetite/ increase in appetite
- Feeling to stay in bed all day
- Feeling to stay isolated
If you have the above all, I’d say you must consider:
- Daily excercise
- Try getting enough sleep 6-7 hours
- Eat right.
- Try to have a time table or a to-do list.
- Speak to a family member or friend.
- Take an appointment with a specialist.
I’m no doctor, but these are what I could grasp and gather in lay man terms.
Life is meant to be lived happily, in the now and present. Let go of what was, what could have been. Instead, think of what could be. Trust yourself. Believe everything will get better, it’s just a phase.
Life is Beautiful!
